Outkast Reunion is Coachella’s Most-Tweeted Moment


The Hip hop duo hasn’t performed together since their 2006 idlewind years. It’s 2014, André 3000 and Big Boi of finally reunite once again.


The duo hooked the crowd as they opened with their Stankonia hit, “B.O.B.” (“Bombs Over Baghdad”), before going over to “Gasoline Dreams,” “ATLiens,” “Skew It on the Bar-B” and “Rosa Parks.”


In the middle of the set, Big Boi and Andre, both took their turns, before the rapper Future and Janelle Monae stepped in. Here’s what Monae said after performing “Tightrope” (go to the 37:50 mark to watch) with Big Boi,

“This is my favorite group in the entire world and what we are witnessing tonight is history — I am so honored, so I want y’all to scream for Outkast,”

According to Twitter data, this Outkast reunion performance was the most tweeted moment of the show.


The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival (or simply, Coachella) is an annual two-weekend, three-day music and arts festival held at Empire Polo Club in Indio, California located in the Inland Empire’s Coachella Valley.
