This is definitely not a good news for the employees working for the network-equipment maker. The company has announced a job cut of about 1300 employees.
The announcement comes a year after the company announced the shedding of about 14 percent of its global workforce, which included 15 percent reduction in employees at the vice president level or higher. That puts it at 11,500 employees.
This layoff comes as a part of the company’s restructuring effort. So this is apparently a strategic move by the company, and a move not just forced upon by the circumstances.
